Podiatry

Podiatrists provide triage, screening, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and foot health education to patients with a lower limb condition or a systemic condition that affects the lower limb.

All GG&C Podiatrists are registered by the Health and Care Professions council (HCPC) who ensure that staff meet their standards for training, professional behaviour and health.

They do this by:

  • Providing care for individuals who have developed tissue damage to their feet
  • Helping people with foot and ankle pain or injury to rehabilitate, enabling them to remain fit and active
  • Focusing on supporting individuals with their goals to maintain health.
